Ice Robe Eco Friendly Finishing

We use PFC-free BIONIC-FINISH ECO Durable Water-Repellent (DWR) finishing on all our waterproof products. This plant-based solution doesn't contain any harmful compounds, delivering high-performance weather resistance and reducing the impact on the environment.

Recycled Materials in our Ice Robe

Our Ice Robes are made with 100% recycled nylon. This weatherproof shell fabric is made with pre-consumer recycled nylon otherwise destined for landfill. Our synthetic lambswool fleece lining is made from 100% recycled polyester. This high-performance fleece is made from recycled post-consumer plastic.

Biodegradable Advanced Ice Tanks

Our Advanced Ice Tank is made from a material called TPU (Thermoplastic Polyurethane). This material is 100% biodegradable within 3 - 5 years and has a much greener manufacturing process which is great for the natural environment, and is completely non-toxic!

Original Portable Ice Tanks

Whilst we have made great progress with the original portable Ice Tank, currenlty we still use a layer of PVC. We only use PVC that is 100% recyclable, however, we know this is not good enough. We plan to replace PVC with TPU as soon as we are big enough to meet the minimumn order our suppliers need for TPU. In the mean time we ask that when you are finished with your Original Ice Tank that you send it back to us - we will take care of the recycling and refund you the delivery cost.

Trusted Supply Chain

We work closely with trusted suppliers to make continous improvements to our supply chain. Our suppliers are based in China and we work together to ensure fair labour practices and safe working conditions. All of our suppliers maintain SMETA approval or are BSCI audited and have gained ISO14001 certification.

Save the Arctic Ice

At Ice Tank we want to save the Arctic ice and all the animals that rely on it for survival. And so every year we donate 5% of our profits to the WWF Arctic programme which aims to achieve 'a well-managed, biodiverse and resilient Arctic supporting healthy viable populations of wild species and benefiting the well-being of people in the Arctic and beyond.'

Save the Arctic Ice

The Arctic’s climate is warming nearly three times faster than the rest of the planet. This is causing extensive habitat destruction and declines in the populations of species that depend on snow and ice. Ice Tank has partnered with Artic WWF to give 10% of all our profits to the WWF Arctic Programme.
